Temple of the Dog (I) | 2026|
Gesso, plaster, charcoal, loose pigment and ink on board
120 x 80 cm

Part of an ongoing series of portraits of street dogs.

Dogs can be a loyal part of any household; a guide or companion.
As street dogs, they are viewed with suspicion, often shunned or made out to be vermin.

What is so familiar and close to home also shows the limits of our care and hospitality, when we can’t quite place them as either domestic or ‘wild’.
